[...] seeing the workshop as an alchemist’s laboratory and art as a medicine made me think of the art of divination as it has
evolved over time, and of the Great Work of the alchemist.
I felt the need to evoke these experiences, which I interpret as a quest for meaning, an attempt to find a remedy to the
inconsistency of our being. I placed myself at the centre of the images, which bring to mind the unity of Earth and Sky, the
instruments of the alchemists, the divinatory arts of the Tarot and Stargazing, to remember the many women who had the
wisdom that made them able to question the Earth and the Sky. But there is no trace of these women: the might of the
patriarchy has erased them from history.
