From 1968 to 1973 I made many sculptures in polyester material.
These sculptures, for their structural dynamism, use of colour and various materials,
stood in antithesis to the conceptual view of minimal art in vogue at the time.
Against the static nature of monumental forms that express a metaphysical and hierarchical gaze on existence,
I preferred to juxtapose an investigation of the fluid and "becoming" dimension of existence. |
